Parents and Children Succeeding

o enhance the quality of life for children, youth and families who resides in "high-risk" environments. And, primary goals are to encourage self-sufficiency through viable programs, social support services, affordable housing and cultural activities that uplifts the morale and pride of all citizens through a comprehensive holistic approaches.

"The mission of the Parklands Community Center is to provide viable programs and services to enhance the quality of life for low-income children, youth and their families living primarily east of the river that uplift their morale and pride through a comprehensive, holistic approach.

The Parklands Community Center is a community-based organization with a past firmly planted in success through years of accomplishments and commitment to residents living east of the river in Washington, D.C.

Over the years, PCC’s services and programs have made it possible for children, youth and parents to have positive and clear choices that improved their standard of living.

Through perseverance and longevity PCC has develop many branches: year-round programming for children and youth; community festivals; city-wide family strengthening conferences; computer training; family bonding activities; parenting workshops; youth leadership training and family strengthening support services.

We strive to prepare our clients to meet the evolving challenges and expectations of society. We listen and stay abreast of societal changes to understand the needs of our clients."
