The day-to-day operations will be managed by the Program Manager, Brenda Jones, who has managed and administered the many programs and activities for the Parklands Community Center for the past 26 years.  The Case Manager is responsible for ensure that all clients have been assessed and an agreement made to implement services for the client - responsible for the update of files on each client and the documentation in the WEBSTARS - responsible for tracking of clients and successful outcomes.  Two Parent Advocates are responsible for assisting the Case Manager in assessments, social service support, transporting clients to necessary appointments and making referrals; along with one Advocate will be responsible for persons in need of housing and another will be responsible for employment assistance. Certified and experienced Counselors and Facilitators will provide needed counseling and training.  The Center is staffed with friendly, experienced and dedicated staff to assist in emerging needs, make necessary referrals and serve as mentors to our clients.  Our  services provide flexibility and customized features to address and accommodate the targeted parents and we have the ability to respond to real family needs and situations that families are faced within urban settings.

The proposed Parent Center allows the Parklands Community Center the opportunity to continue and expand its services and programming for low-income parents and their families.
