Family Bonding Activities

We encourage parents to spend as much time as possible with their children to keep and enhance the bond between them, so the Parklands Community Center plan and recommend activities in the community and outside of the community that are either free of charge, affordable or, in some cases PCC will cover the expense, because the parents we serve are generally low-income and/or have limited income,

Together parents and the staff plan seasonal activities, including a weekend family bonding retreat in Wildwood, New Jersey for the whole family.  This year's Family Bonding Retreat will be June 20 through June 23, 2008.  We are able to sponsor approximately 14 families (approximately 56 persons) and looking for sponsors to include more families.
